What the business needed

Design and Style Home Improvements does design-led renovation: bespoke kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and fitted furniture, full refurbishments, extensions and loft conversions, and accessible bathroom adaptations for elderly and disabled homeowners, across Yorkshire, the North West and the Midlands. The customers range from homeowners to landlords, investors and insurers.

What was built

Nine pages: home, five service pages for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, accessible bathrooms and refurbishments, contact, privacy and terms. Each service page has its own title, description and keyword set rather than a shared template's, so kitchen installation in Yorkshire and wet rooms in the North West are optimised separately.

The enquiry form is the one place on the client roster where a form library earned its place. It validates UK phone numbers and postcodes, takes an eighteen-item multi-select of work types, a description of ten to a thousand characters, an optional budget band from under £3,000 to over £30,000 and a timescale, so a survey visit is booked with the job already understood. It posts to Formspark.

Accessibility work is a defined block in the stylesheet: visible focus rings, 44-pixel minimum tap targets on touch devices, reduced-motion and high-contrast overrides. Section backgrounds use one small reusable component that lays a low-quality, lazy-loaded photograph behind a solid overlay for texture without weight.

Accessible bathrooms as a first-class service

A full page and a schema entry rather than a footnote, because adaptation work is a genuine line of business and a distinct search.

An enquiry form that qualifies

Work types, budget band and timescale captured up front, so the first conversation is about the job rather than about the form.

Getting it found

LocalBusiness with address, opening hours, service area and a seven-service offer catalogue, an Organisation node with the legal name, and breadcrumbs, injected on every page. Keywords are per page and per region: bespoke kitchen design, kitchen fitter North West, bathroom renovation Yorkshire, wheelchair accessible bathroom.
